INFORMATION FOR 2023 GRANTEES

GRANT REIMBURSEMENT PROCESS

IMPORTANT:

This information only applies to the four grantees from 2023 who were granted an extension. For these four awards (and only these four), a reimbursement procedure is still necessary. Please follow the instructions below as soon as your project is complete to receive your funding.

Once your program has been completed, please mail your request and documentation in hard copy to:

Wellfleet Cultural Council, 300 Main St., Wellfleet, MA 02667

OR email to: wellfleetculturalcouncil@gmail.com

Your reimbursement request must include:

      • A completed Massachusetts Cultural Council reimbursement form

      • A completed W-9 form

    • Invoices, receipts, or paid bills equaling or exceeding your grant award amount

• Evidence that the event took place and was credited to WCC (programs, news clippings, press releases, advertisements, etc.)

Neglecting to include these items will delay your payment.  Reimbursement will take approximately 4 weeks.

Requests for reimbursement must be postmarked within one year from the date of your approval letter.

Failure to meet that deadline will result in the loss of funds.

Extension and modification requests:

If you need additional time to complete your project, your request for an extension must be made in writing, explaining the need for additional time. Grant recipients also need the Council’s written permission to make changes to their projects.  Project modifications must be requested in writing, and the modification should not significantly alter the original purpose of the approved application. These requests can be made via email to your Wellfleet Cultural Council Liaison. Extension and modification requests are reviewed on a case-by-case basis and are not automatically granted.
