Dick & Jim An American Friendship in Four Acts - A Staged Reading

Photographer Richard Avedon and author/activist James Baldwin were classmates and close friends at DeWitt Clinton High School in The Bronx. In Dick & Jim, local poet and playwright Neil Silberblatt imagines conversations between the two men, starting from their school days and leading up to the publication of their book, Nothing Personal (with photos by Avedon & essays by Baldwin).

A staged reading of the play featuring local actors David Adam Boaz and Geof Newton will be followed by a Q&A with playwright Neil Silberblatt.
