OUR MISSION
The Wellfleet Cultural Council’s (WCC) mission is to foster an environment that builds a vibrant community. It awards grants and provides support to individual artists and established organizations that craft and present creative community-based programs in the arts, humanities, and interpretive sciences that benefit and enrich the Wellfleet community. Appointed by the municipality of Wellfleet, MA, the committee oversees the grant application, awards, and the management of the town’s Massachusetts Local Cultural Council (LCC) program and seeks to raise awareness of, and additional resources for, the WCC.
From dozens of applications, the following projects have been funded by the Wellfleet Council in fiscal year 2024. Congratulations to all the recipients and we look forward to experiencing your contributions to our community.
